BitTorrent scam letters demand hundreds of dollars in fees for copyright infringement.

DownloadConcern is rising about a threat to BitTorrent’s longevity as a company, as well as to its loyal users.

Among other recent changes such as increased advertising and sponsored results that rank above organic results in the search results. Now, scammers known as “Internet Copyright Law Enforcement Agency” are sending letters in which they demand hundreds of dollars for violating copyright law by performing illegal downloads, or they will take legal action.

Baware of these and/or similar letters.
